“…Tyler Perry’s style it’s always going to leave you wanting more. There’s always going to be something dynamic in a season finale that kind of has you wondering what’s coming next and leaves you on the edge of your seat…so you can definitely count on that.”Trinity Whiteside
TYLER PERRY’S SISTAS season 2 is coming to an end. Spilling the tea on what to expect in the upcoming finale are the fellas of Sistas, Trinity Whiteside (Preston); Brian Jordan Jr. (Maurice) and Anthony Dalton II (Calvin). The BET hit show has remained one of the best scripted series on cable since it’s original premiere date. Seems like only yesterday fans were introduced to the story of Andi (KJ Smith), Karen (Ebony Obsidian), Danni (Mignon Von) and Sabrina (Novi Brown), four African-American women navigating the ups and downs of life as the best of friends. The lives of these four women have stolen the hearts of many of its viewers and we can’t wait to see what happens in Wednesday’s Finale.
According to Brian who plays Maurice in the series fans can certainly expect to be surprised, “..especially in the Sabrina, Maurice Calvin diatribe like that thing is bananas and that’s all I’m gonna say.” As Anthony explains, Calvin has undergone a therapy of sorts this season getting a lot things off his chest. This season the show delved further into his backstory so we have a better understanding of who Calvin is. Viewers will be interested to see how this development culminates in the show’s finale as it relates to his characters connection with Sabrina and Maurice.
Brian also has his own surprise for fans of the show hinting to his idea of a storyline arc between his character and Fatima, played by actress Crystal Renee Hayslett. “..I would want Maurice to surprisingly be bisexual and then end up with Fatima, that’s it! That’s what I would like tonight.”, exclaimed Brian. Castmates Trinity and Anthony chuckled appearing to have no objections to Maurice’s possible new love interest. If you’re here for this new twist feel free to sound off the shows social media and who knows maybe Season 3 will offer up something new for Maurice and Fatima fans.
For more jaw dropping moments be sure to tune in March 31st on BET to see how your favorite characters end the season.
